My heart is to come alongside her with compassion and truth and to look her in the eye and share with her what no abuser, betrayer, or destructive past could ever erase:
God sees you. God loves you. And your story is not over.
I want people to walk away from every event knowing this: there is no pain so deep, no shame so thick, and no history so dark that Jesus Christ cannot redeem it. If He can take my life marked by abuse, abandonment, statutory rape, single motherhood, poverty, and decades of hidden shame and transform it into dignity, hope, purpose, fulfillment, and joy, then He can do the same for them.
Speaking is not a platform for me. It is an altar where:God meets the brokenhearted.

Philosophy of Speaking
Susan has been a speaker longer than she has been an author. When she stands at a podium—whether it’s a sanctuary, conference hall, retreat center, or intimate gathering—she’s not an expert talking at people. She’s coming as a woman who has lived through the trenches of emotional trauma, spiritual abuse, abandonment, and shame and has been radically healed by the love of a Father who restores the shattered places no one else can reach.
Susan shares with transparency and empathy because she knows what it feels like to sit in an audience and wonder if healing is even possible for someone like her. She teaches Biblical truths with clarity because emotional trauma requires spiritual revelation and practical steps. She speaks with boldness because when God transforms a life, He restores publicly what the enemy tried to destroy privately.
Susan delivers messages rooted in Scripture, anchored in honesty, and meant to usher people toward the wholeness Jesus died to give them. She doesn’t offer coping strategies as the finish line. Instead, she points people to the God who is still in the business of turning ashes into beauty and devastation into restoration.
